경희대 글로벌 MBA 특강

2024년 11월 18월에 있었던 일이지만 기록을 위해서 포스팅합니다.

한OO 박사님의 추천으로 경희대학교 글로벌 MBA 학생들을 대상으로 특강을 했습니다. 강의 주제는 'Digital Journey and Career Development with Data Driven Strategies'이었습니다.

​

강의 내용은 2024년 6월 샌프란시스코에서 진행된 데이터브릭스의 Data+AI Summit 2024에서 제가 발표한 'Maximizing Data Value with Databricks'를 기반으로 경력개발 내용을 추가하였습니다.

​

비록 학생수는 4명(1명 결석)으로 적었지만, 학생들 모두 데이터 분석과 AI에 대한 폭발적인 관심을 가지고 있었습니다. 다들 직장 경험들이 있고 졸업이후에 다시 일을 해야하기 때문에 경력관리에 대해서 많은 질문을 했습니다.

​

강의는 늦은 밤에 시작됬는데 질문이 30분 동안 계속 이어지는 바람에 더 늦게 끝났습니다. 정말 정열적이고 긍정적인 학생들이라 저도 많은 자극을 받았습니다.

​

인도네시아, 러시아, 베트남, 네덜란드, 카자흐스탄 국적의 학생들이라서 영어로 프리젠테이션을 했습니다. 소수의 인원이라서 그냥 영어학원의 프리토킹 수업으로 생각하고 이야기했습니다. 다행이 의사소통은 잘 되었습니다.

학생들이 한국말을 이해하기 어렵지만, 기념품으로 제가 쓴 책 '넥스트 디지털'을 선물했습니다. 한국에서의 추억을 만들어주기 위해서 학생들의 모국어로 서명을 해줬더니, 학생들 모두 자신의 모국어를 보자마자 모두 놀라서 정지상태로 서있었습니다. 그들에게 한국에서의 좋은 기억을 만들어 줘서 보람있게 생각합니다.

This happened on November 18, 2024, but I am posting this for the record.

At the recommendation of Dr. Han OO, I gave a special lecture to Kyunghee University Global MBA students. The topic of the lecture was 'Digital Journey and Career Development with Data Driven Strategies'.

​

The lecture content was based on 'Maximizing Data Value with Databricks' that I presented at Databricks' Data+AI Summit 2024 held in San Francisco in June 2024, and I added career development content.

​

Although there were only 4 students (1 absent), they all showed explosive interest in data analysis and AI. They all had work experience and have to work again after graduation, so they asked a lot of questions about career management.

​

The lecture started late at night, but the questions continued for 30 minutes and ended even later at night. I was very inspired by their passionate and positive attitudes.

​

The students are from Indonesia, Russia, Vietnam, Holland, and Kazakhstan, so I gave a presentation in English. Since there were only a few people, it was like a free-talking class at an English academy. Fortunately, communication went well.

​

The students don't know Korean, but I gave them my book 'Next Digital' as a souvenir. I signed it in their native language to make a memory of Korea, and they were all surprised to see the book in their native language. I felt rewarded for giving them a good memory of Korea.
