(주)한화 Databricks의 Democratization Award 수상

2023년 4월 23일 ㈜한화를 대표하여 데이터브릭스로부터 Democratization Award를 받았습니다. Databricks를 통해서 많은 직원들이 스스로 자료를 조회하고 활용할 수 있게 되었습니다. IT와 Data가 전문가들만 사용하는 것이 아니라 모든 사람들이 사용할 수 있기 때문에 민주화라고 부르기도 합니다. GenAI 영업 조직의 책임자인 Barry Dauber 씨가 시상을 해주셨습니다. 저는 Databricks를 활용한 산출물의 결과로 이렇게 상을 받게 되어 영광으로 생각합니다.

(주)한화는 지난해부터 데이터브릭스를 사용해 왔습니다. 제가 경험해왔던 다른 데이터 분석 플랫폼과는 완전히 다르다고 생각합니다. 향후에 출시될 서버리스, Gen AI, 벡터 DB, 시각화 툴 등이 매우 기대됩니다.

 

 

On April 23, 2023, I received the Democratization Award from Databricks on behalf of Hanwha Corporation. With Databricks, many employees can now view and act on data on their own. It is also called democratization because IT and data can be used by anyone, not just experts. Barry Dauber, Head of GenAI Sales Organization, presented me with the award. I am very honored to receive this award as a result of my collaboration with Databricks.

Hanwha Corporation has been using Databricks since last year. I think it’s completely different from other data analysis platforms I’ve experienced. I am very excited about serverless, Gen AI, vector DB, visualization tools, etc. that will be released soon.
