Nvidia의 젠슨황 형님과 만나다

2024년 6월 12일 샌프란시스코에서 열린 Databricks의 Data + AI Summit 기조연설 세션에서 Databricks 창립자인 Ali Ghodsi와 Nvidia 창립자인 젠슨황을 처음으로 직접 보게되어 매우 기뻤습니다. 이렇게 유명한 분들을 직접 보게 되었다는 게 믿겨지지 않습니다. ㅎㅎ

기쁜 마음으로 오후 엔비디아 본사에서 진행된 플러그 앤 플레이 행사에 참여하면서 젠슨황을 만나게 되면 행복하겠다고 생각했습니다.
일정에는 없었는데 갑자기 젠슨황이 나타나서 모든 방문객들이 놀라워 했습니다. 젠슨황은 멋진 가죽 점퍼를 입고 방문객들에게 친절하게 인사하고, 차분하고 자신감 넘치는 목소리로 자신의 생각을 설명하는 모습이 정말 멋졌습니다.

방문객들의 질문에 잘 대답해주셨을 뿐만 아니라, 한 사람. 한 사람 눈을 마주치며 통찰을 주시는 모습이 참 인간적이라는 느낌이 들었습니다. 인기 연예인을 만난 것과 같은 설렘은 아직도 식지 않고 있습니다. 그날 말씀해주신 통찰들은 깊이 간직하고 실천하겠습니다.

이러한 이벤트들에 참석할 수 있게 도와주신 Databricks의 Shiv Trisal, Ed Lenta, Rick Schultz, Kyungsoon Kelly Um (엄 경 순), julien kim, Young Shin, Lee Seo, Andy Kim님과 Plug and Play Tech Center의 David Kim에게 감사의 말씀을 전하고 싶습니다.


I was excited to see Databricks founder Ali Ghodsi and Nvidia founder Jensen Huang in person for the first time during their keynote session at Databricks' Data + AI Summit at San Francisco in June 12th 2024. I can't believe I got to see these famous people in person!!

I happily participated in the Plug and Play event held at NVIDIA headquarters in the afternoon and thought that I would be happy to meet Jensen Huang.

It wasn't on the schedule, but all the visitors were surprised when Jensen Huang suddenly appeared. I thought it was really cool to see him wearing a nice leather jumper, greeting his visitors kindly, and explaining his thoughts in a calm, confident voice.

Not only did he answer the visitors' questions well, but he made eye contact with each person and gave them insight, giving them a truly human feeling. The excitement of meeting a popular celebrity has not yet cooled down. I will deeply cherish and put into practice the insights I heard that day.
